| The ceiling of a hospital room collapsed on a patient on haemodialysis in the west Bulgarian town of Botevgrad . The woman, Ivanka Dimova, was injured severely but survived. Her husband has stated he was going to sue the Botevgrad hospital. Dimova is from the nearby town of Pravetz . | A 19-year-old youngster and his aunt have been detained Wednesday over the brutal kill of a young man in Bulgaria`s town of Botevgrad . The murder was committed after a personal conflict between the killers and the victim Vassil Dimitrov, 22. The dead body was found on an alley in a park in the town. | Within the next four years, Epiq Electronic Assembly, the Botevgrad -based unit of Belgium`s Epiq, will be manufacturing 10 mln high temperature exhaust gas sensors for the automotive industry annually. Almost 90% of new cars manufactured after 2013 will have to be outfitted with a high temperature exhaust gas sensor. | The mountain passage of Shipka a major road link between South and North Bulgaria, is closed for traffic, the police announced. Freight vehicles are not allowed to continue on the Hemus freeway and are held near the town of Pravets until the road is cleaned. All vehicles must have snow chains in the region of Botevgrad and Smolyan. The Shipkovo-Ribaritsa road is closed. Drivers are advised to follow strictly the road regulations and to be cautious. |
