Special police operation took place last night in the capital, which continues with the opening of the Octopus operation.
Minister of Interior Tsvetan Tsvetanov said that the operation is to locate and arrest the members of the hierarchy built organized criminal group, engaged in extortion, racketeering, offering sexual services, illegal acquisition of financial means of Kremikovtzi AD, non-payment of VAT, money laundering and other criminal activities.
The group had operated for more than ten years.

The inspections are continuing, as the Ministry of Interior is looking to increase the control against organized crime in Sofia and around the country. Minister Tsvetanov added that the current operation has been planned for a few weeks...
