Google ready to invest EUR 300 million in new solar plant near village of Kraynitsi

The world-famous US corporation Google is ready to invest 300 million euros in building of solar plant near the village of Krainitsi (Dupnitsa municipality). This will made by the company "Dupnitza Solar-M" Ltd., established by the public company "Monolit" - a member of the Bulgarian Association of photovoltaic energy.
The investment intentions of the biggest Internet search engine were announced at a session of the local Dupnitsa Parliament by the Executive Director of "Dupnitsa Solar-M" Georgi Georgiev and the consultant Georgi Kolev. Google has several solar power plants around the world. If the National Electricity Company (NEC) approves the project Dupnitza will be the first town in Eastern Europe, where power plant with 90 MW capacity will be constructed.
