Gradishtka Kalia fortress near Bulgaria’s Yakorouda has the potential to turn into a popular tourism destination. Fortress walls have been preserved quite well and might tickle the curiosity of many tourists, archaeologist Ivan Petrinski told Focus news agency. Only research has been carried out in the region, since the excavation works are in a very early phase. Significant financial resources will be needed to carry out work properly, Petrinski said.
