Temperatures will run as high as 43C in the second half of July. The hot spell will begin Thursday. Then temperatures in most parts of Bulgaria will reach 38C. It will be the hottest in Plovdiv, Sandanski, Petrich, Ruse and Razgrad. Temperatures there may well exceed 40C, meteorologists forecast. It will be very warm along the Black Sea coast as well. Highs there reached 34-35C yesterday and hot weather is expected to persist. >>
