Foreign tourists visit unique church in Dobarsko

The church in the Razlog region village of Dobursko is seeing numerous visits from foreign tourists, radio Focus-Pirin. St. Teodor Tiron and Teodor Stratilat church is mainly known for its unusual icons.

Tourists from various parts of Europe have explored the landmark, Dobursko mayor Nikola Naidenov said. In 2008, tourists from the US, Japan, China and Canada came to Dobursko. The financial crisis led to a decrease in the number of foreign tourist visits. Yet, more Bulgarians are exploring the landmark now.

Dobursko is situated on the southern slopes of Rila Mountain.
