The Bulgarian-Greek border at Kulata -Promachonas border check-point is no longer blocked. The protesting Greek farmers who had blocked the check-point decided to abandon their protest and drive away the tractors, reported ANA-MPA. Meanwhile the Spokesperson of the European Commission, Fabio Pirotta told the Bulgarian News Agency that proper measures against Greece were being considered with regards to the blockade of the Bulgarian-Greek border.

All checkpoints along the border between Bulgaria and Greece with the exception of Kulata -Promahonas are open for vehicles and at the moment passage is as normal. Ilinden -Exsohi checkpoint has been opened for all types of vehicles at 3.00pm, the Border Police press center announced. The protesting Greek farmers have lifted the blockage for trucks as well. A series of power shocks made the Bulgarian border police close down Kulata border checkpoint with Greece, DeltaNews reported today.
