| If no measures are taken within a month to finish the Ilinden Checkpoint, the Inter-Agency Council on Border Control will propose that the checkpoint be shut down, State Administration and Administrative Reform Minister Nikolai Vassilev said on Tuesday after a meeting of the Inter-Agency Council. | FIA Bulgaria, 68.68%-owned by Greece`s FIA Corporation, may increase its stake in the joint project with the local Hadjidimovo municipality for the construction of a 72,000 sq m villa community and a 48,000 sq m high-tech park near the village of Koprivlen , South-western Bulgaria .
FIA Bulgaria owns 55% in joint venture company United Constructions&Development. The municipality has contributed land to the assets of the JV.

Greek-owned FIA Bulgaria and the local Hadjidimovo municipality have a set up a joint venture for the construction of a villa community and a tech park near the village of Koprivlen, South-western Bulgaria. According to local newspaper Stroitelstvo Gradat, the Greek investors have slated 10 mln levs for the complex which will be located on the road to the Greek border. The development, due for delivery in 2009, will feature 100 houses, hypermarket, sports and parking facilities and a center for medical tourism. |
