An earthquake measuring 3,6 on the Richter scale shook the territory of Blagoevgrad municipality in South-western Bulgaria on Monday afternoon. The epicentre of the quake was registered 80 kilometres of the capital city of Sofia at 2.46 p.m. local time, seismologists reported. The mild tremor did not cause serious damages or casualties. The area of Blagoevgrad municipality is known as highly quake-prone.
