Sofia City Court decided Friday to leave behind bars the 31-year-old Bulgarian Vera Dimitrova, who has brutally killed her step-father, dismembered his dead body and threw it in several garbage containers in the capital city. The defendant made full confessions immediately after committing the crime on May 9. Medical expertise proved Dimitrova murdered her victim Velin Karadzhov consciously as she does not suffer from any kind of psychological disease. The judges left her in the custody because they feared the killer could commit other crimes if at large during the trial against her. |

An 18-year-old boy died after he was beaten up by his cousin in a fight in Roma district in Bulgaria`s town of Petrich late on Thursday. The attacker Valyo Dimitrov and his two underage sons quarreled with the victim Oleg Dimchev over animals` ownership. Due to the fact that neighbors have immediately signaled the police over the scandal, Dimitrov was arrested few minutes after the incident and his children - shortly after midnight. The young victim died of his serious head and breast injuries in the local hospital. |
