The Karanovska village hill is situated in the village of Karanovo , Sliven region . That`s the biggest village hill in entire Europe. Karanovo settlement mound and the Nova Zagora history museum were included among the 100 national tourist sites, Darik Radio reported. The mound took the place of Bogdan peak and is now number 76 of the 100 must-sees in Bulgaria. There are over 400 settlement mounds (tells) in Bulgaria, which bespeak brilliant prehistoric civilization.
