The traditional folk costume festival will take place in Bulgaria’s Zheravna on August 21, 22 and 23. Traditional dances, performances and nestinari traditions demonstrations will be part of the event. Over 20 Bulgarian folk groups will take part in the fest. Foreign visitors will come from the Netherlands, Greece and Cuba. This is the second edition of the fest. Karandila region near Sliven is one of the most preferred tourism destinations in the region among foreign tourist groups. The lift of the park is one of its most popular attractions. Tourists started using the facility back on May 10. The lift functions until October and is especially visited during weekends. Foreign groups most often come from Denmark, the Netherlands, the UK and Greece. Other popular tourism places in the region include Zheravna , Ichera and Kotel .

A unique festival of folklore arts will take place in the village of Zheravna, an architectural reserve of national importance, central Bulgaria. From August 22 to 24, folklore performers from all over Bulgaria will demonstrate their skills and talents. One of the peculiar aspects of the festival is that the local people and the guest will have to wear traditional Bulgarian costumes during the three days of the forum. The event is organized by Jeravna Association and Bulgare ensemble.
