Average 3 - 4 holes are bankrupting every week on the Bulgaria seaside , the State Agency of Tourism (SAT) data shows. That was announced by the SAT chairman Anelia Krushkova. Dozens of hotels are being announced for sale, but there are no buyers. Society: Bulgarian Eco Activists Protest against Tsarevo Sea Resort Development Plan

About 30 eco-activists gathered Tuesday in front of the Environment Ministry building to stage a protest against the plan for development of Bulgaria`s Black Sea resort of Tsarevo at the time when it had to be discussed. The protestors claim the plan does not correspond to NATURA 2000 program, which includes protected areas across the country. They claim also that the plan contradicts to the European directives. If the plan is approved that would mean the natural park of Strandzha will be destroyed, the ecologists said....

Two working groups have been tasked to come up within the next month with the necessary paperwork on the designation of fishing ports along the northern and southern parts of the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. The mayors of Burgas, Nesebar, Pomorie, Tsarevo, Sozopol and Primorsko have all said they are ready to build fishing ports on their territory. On Wed, the municipalities in question were scheduled to submit to the relevant ministries their requests for consultations on the creation of fish ports, their registration and successful application for EU funding.
