Bulgarian municipalities have intensified their interest in the utilisation of mineral springs, which the Bulgarian state grants them under gratuitous concession. The Ministry of Environment and Water published a list of nearly 70 mineral springs, which can be managed by the Bulgarian municipalities for a period of 25 years. Some 110,000 people were permanently employed in the tourism sector last year, or 15,000 less than in 2008. Three dead dolphins were discovered at Kavatsite beach near the coastal town of Sozopol and one was discovered in Bulgaria’s Pomorie , Radio Varna reported.
