The coastal city of Burgas will be opening for the sea with a brand new project on the agenda, dubbed "Super-Burgas". A special joint venture was set up yesterday to carry out the project.

The Minister of Transport Petar Mutafchiev and the Minister of Finance Plamen Oresharski attended the company foundation. Up until now, "Super-Burgas" has been just an initiative committee, but the newly-founded venture is now taking over and will be shortly moving on to its implementation.

The main idea is to relocate Port Burgas, which now occupies the downtown parts, southwards. It will be replaced by a modern-date business centre. "Super-Burgas" will be funded by the Bulgarian Development Bank (BDB).
