Belgian wind power developer Electrowinds has earmarked BGN 106 million for the construction of a 30 MW wind power project in Bulgaria . Nine people were injured Monday when a passenger bus crashed into a tank truck transporting LPG near the coastal Bulgarian city of Burgas . Two women remain in critical condition, doctors said. The bus was travelling towards the town of Aytos , police said and added that the reason behind the incident is probably a mistake by the bus driver who attempted overtaking and hit the truck moving in the opposite lane. A military town for 500 US servicemen and their families will be built near the Novo Selo base. It will stretch over 5 ha and will boast all necessary amenities - medical centers, gyms, libraries, convenience stores and daycare centers for children. Several big Burgas area enterprises are relocating their production operations to an industrial zone taking shape near the city of Aitos .
The Aitos municipality , some 30 km inland from Burgas , has designated some 80 ha for the zone. It is expected to welcome 50 business with a combined staff of 3,000.

Prominent Bourgas -based companies will move their production facilities to the industrial area near the town of Aitos , Bourgas municipality , mayor Evgeni Vrabchev officially announced.
The future business area will embrace an 80 ha plot. About 50 companies are expected to deploy their production capacities and administrative centres in the complex. Around 3 000 people are working in the compound.

High wind and snow drifts are blocking the traffic along Trakia highway close to the town of Karnobat, Focus News Agency’s correspondent reported.
According to the mayor of the municipality of Karnobat it is likely that the highway will be closed due to the snowdrifts and icy road sections. There are many broken-down trucks. The traffic police advise car and truck drivers to put off their traveling along the highway. The road Aytos-Karnobat is open and passable.
