Masterbuild, a Burgas area building contractor and property developer, said it will build holiday complexes in the village of Kableshkovo and Medovo , near Pomorie . The Medovo vacation community will have a footprint of 100,000 sq m, accommodating 64 residential buildings with housing units ranging from 95 to 214 sq m. Football legend Hristo Stoychkov plans to build a resort on 16 acres near the famous Lakes of Smolian . He didn’t specify if he would work in cooperation with the Dinev brothers’ construction firm. “ It is a big place and we haven’t decided on the type of construction yet,” said Stoychkov , who hails from Plovdiv . The Bulgarian Black Sea coast is the fifth most popular tourist destination among German holiday-makers, according to a poll conducted among 1,200 travel agents by the Urlaub Perfekt publication. The country scores well on affordability and family-friendliness but trails the competition in terms of customer service and quality of accommodation. The poll is topped by Spain, followed by Turkey, Greece and Egypt.

About 15 million leva will be spent on developing a new hotel complex near the seaside resort of Chernomorets .
Construction will take place in two stages and completion is scheduled for 2010, Stefan Bonev, the project’s manager, reported.
The holiday compound`s investor is Tsarski zalivi – Sofia . The new complex, to be named Kosta Bulgara, was officially inaugurated by an Orthodox priest.

Far` (Lighthouse) vacancy complex in St. Vlas seaside resort will be entered in exploitation this February. The investor "Prime Property BG" entered 9 million BGN (4,5 million EUR) in the project.
The complex is located in the South-Eastern part of the sea resort, near one of the biggest Bulgarian summer resorts of Sunny Beach .

Sozopol has received the gold seal distinction for a unique European village, granted by the European Forum of Experts and the Official Representation of Unique Villages in Europe, Sozopol Municipality PR officers reported.
