A 37-year-old worker in Troyanovo-1 mine of the Maritza Iztok complex in Radnevo died Wednesday in an accident. The man suffered an electric shock while doing routine maintenance of electric installations in the mine. An investigation over the reasons behind the tragic accident have been launched.
A 37-year-old worker has died on the spot and another was injured in an incident at an open-cast pit at the thermo-electric power station Maritza Iztok 2 on Sunday. The pit is part of Maritza Iztok coalfield and is located at the village of Troyanovo . The victim has been identified as Krassimir Mihailov. The worker, who suffered a fractured leg in the incident, has been hospitalized. His life is out of danger.
Citygas, the local subsidiary of Gruppo Societa Gas Rimini S.p.A., will invest 178 mln levs in gas distribution center Trakia through 2013. The target is set out in the business plan of the company submitted for approval by the Bulgarian power regulator. The document will be reviewed next week.
