Bidders in tender for Bulgaria-Greece checkpoints near Zlatograd and Ivailovgrad

Only four companies placed bids in the tender for construction of the border checkpoints Zlatograd - Termes, and Ivaylovgrad - Kiprinos, with three bids competing for every checkpoint.

Within 10 days the tender commission will have the results of the opening of the technical documents after that they will start with the price bids.

The president of the commission is the director of Public Procurement directorate with the Ministry of regional development Ms. Krasimira Georgieva.

The participants are namely the association "Zlatograd" with members Patstroyengineering - Kardzhali, and AB - Haskovo, for lot 2 - Zlatograd - Termes checkpoint, association Prometey with partners PKS Detelina and and Elektromontazhi - for lot 1 Ivaylovgrad - Kiprinos, BS 80 - Sofia playing for two lots - Ivaylovgrad - Kiprinos, and Zlatograd - Termes.
The fourth bidder is Ecostroy - Ivaylovgrad, with partners Monolit - Haskovo, and BGS Group - Stara Zagora.

The projects should be completed by 23 Oct. The funding is from the budget of the regional development, the cost of every checkpoint is between BGN 1m and BGN 1.5m. The deadline for submission of bids was 22 June.

Scope: Town of Ivaylovgrad; Town of Haskovo; Town of Kurdjali; Town of Zlatograd; City of Sofia; City of Stara Zagora;
