| Children`s villages of the SOS Kinderdorf type will be built soon in the Bulgarian towns of Razgrad, Stara Zagora and Smolyan. Razgrad Municipality have already designated a plot of land at the local Orel District for construction of two houses, a new shelter to all orphans, currently inhabiting two local orphanages. Each SOS home will have bedrooms for two, a study, a living-room, a kitchenette, spacious yard with a garden. The implementation of the project will expend 1.2 million levs (1 euro = 1.95 levs) of the Bulgarian Labour and Social Policy Ministry`s budget. |

| From 2005 until now the regional administration of Smolyan had received no money at all for the cleaning of the river beds of the region of Smolyan, regional governor Dr Petar Fidanov declared for Radio FOCUS – Smolyan. He pointed out that the regional administration was responsible for all rivers and gullies outside the populated areas. After the great floods in 2005 the administration had been sending requests for financing but in vain so far, Dr Fidanov said. |

| The constructions of ski centre ‘Mechi chal` starts in one month near Chepelate town ( Rhodope Mountains ). The project is on the amount of 60 million EUR and will be realized in two steps. The Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan will attend a two day visit to Bulgaria this Thursday and Friday, on March 27-28, the Dnevnik daily reported. Premier Erdogan will visit Bulgaria at the invitation of his counterpart Sergei Stanishev. It is foreseen that the Turkish PM with meet Premier Stanishev and local Parliament Speaker Georgi Pirinski. | The caves in the Rhodopes mountain range have 7 Eneolithic settlements, but they are not as rich as the one in the Yagodinska cave, which is also located in the Rhodopes, Sergey Genchev, curator in the cave, told Focus – Smolyan Radio. Well-manufactured flint tools have been found in the Yagodinska cave. The settlement in the cave was a permanent one, unlike the others in the Rhodopes, and had two fireplaces. |
