Ecological village near Smolyan will use the sun and wind energy

Ecological village with passive ecological houses is under construction near Rodopi mountains town of Smolyan. No Bills houses is the motto of Harmony project. As a result of the unexpected ecological changes in the last ten years more and more often the energy efficient and environment-friendly construction is en vogue. Such a project was presented for the first time at BalPex exhibition.
The complex will use the energy of the sun and the wind explained Chavdar Petkov, manager of the company investor Harmony Ltd. - Smolyan. The site is 8,000 sq. m on one of the southern slopes of Rodopi mountains at about 1,200 m of altitude. On the green site there are situated in step-like pattern 28 one-family two-level houses in five residential groups in two modes - 95 sq. m or 126 sq. m. Every one has a courtyard which is actually the green rooftop of the next door house. The corner stone of the project is expected to be laid within two months. The second stage of the project is a public use building near the parking zone with an indoor swimming pool, a spa centre, a fitness gym, a restaurant, a children’s area.
