The Orphic mysteries celebrations in Trigrad will be held for the second year in a row. They are related to the reproduction of the ancient pagan celebrations, practiced by Thracian tribes, which have to do with the myth of Orpheus and his descend to the underground world. Various folk ensembles, orchestras, famous singers of Rodopi songs, as well as mummer casts from the villages of Shiroka Laka , Otets Paisievo , and Sushitza , will take part in the celebrations. The attraction is part of the traditional fest of Trigrad . The local people will let the guests by the steps of the mythical Orpheus in the mystique cave the Devil Throat . The legend tells that Orpheus went down through the cave in the underground kingdom to lok for his beloved Evridica. Visitors to the museum in the village of Trigrad in the Rhodopi Mountains will learn interesting facts about the brown bear. There are around 250 such bears in the Rhodopi .
