| Over 60,000 companies in Bulgaria are run by women, 63 per cent of whom have higher education, Deputy Economy and Energy Minister Anna Yaneva told a news conference on Wednesday, BTA reported. | Yagodina cave in the Rhodopi mountains has always been interesting for tourists because it is rich in formations. In the summer the cave is visited by more tourists – approximately 150-200 a day, the cave curator Sergey Genchev told Focus – Smolyan Radio. He noted that more tourists arrived at weekends. The active season includes July, August and September. The tourist guides in the cave take a one-month training course. |

| From 2005 until now the regional administration of Smolyan had received no money at all for the cleaning of the river beds of the region of Smolyan, regional governor Dr Petar Fidanov declared for Radio FOCUS – Smolyan. He pointed out that the regional administration was responsible for all rivers and gullies outside the populated areas. After the great floods in 2005 the administration had been sending requests for financing but in vain so far, Dr Fidanov said. |
