| Citygas, the local subsidiary of Gruppo Societa Gas Rimini S.p.A., will invest 178 mln levs in gas distribution center Trakia through 2013. The target is set out in the business plan of the company submitted for approval by the Bulgarian power regulator. The document will be reviewed next week. | The local Black Sea Technology Company (BSTC), 99.69%-owned by Italy`s AMGA Azienda Multiservizi S.p.A., said it is interested in adding the municipalities of Karlovo , Sopot , Bania and Kaloyanovo to its current gas permit area. The company has been licensed to deploy infrastructure in the Dobrudzha and Mizia gas distribution regions. 27-year-old Damyan Dimitrov from Sofia was found dead on Thursday evening. Rescuers have been searching for him since Sunday when he got lost in Bulgaria’s Stara Planina mountain /Balkan Mountains/, the press center of the Municipality of Karlovo told. Rescuers from the towns of Karlovo, Sopot, Kalofer, Plovdiv and Sofia participated in the operation. Dimitrov and two other men participated in a winter mountain contest. Damyan, however, was fatigued and did not have an appropriate outfit. He left the group to wait for rescuers. Due to the bad weather and snowdrifts the rescue teams could not reach the place where Dimitrov was. The search continues on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Damyan was found dead on Thursday. |

| A state of emergency was declared in the central Bulgarian municipality of Sopot, as it has been raining during the night, making the streets and road slippery, the municipal administration told Focus News Agency. Several light road accidents have already happened. The school classes in the municipality have been canceled. Monday is the first school day after pupils’ winter holiday. |
