Scandal Bulgarian rapper and pimp Ivan Glavchev (aka Vanko 1), who was released from prison after serving a sentence on human trafficking, goes to court on Monday for a trial over alleged illegally acquired property.

The village of Yagodovo, just outside Plovdiv is scheduled to join the Plovdiv Municipality, in case the referendum on the matter proves to be successful. The Plovdiv Regional Manager, Todor Petkov, is expected to enter in two weeks` time the offer to the Rhodope Municipality for the local referendum on the matter of the future joining. The Supreme Court has already expresses the approval on March 23, 2008, for running such refrerendum.

Bulgarian businessman Georgi Gergov is developing two luxury riding centres in the Plovdiv area , totalling 11 million leva.
The first compound, in the village of Voivodinovo , is a run-down riding centre that will be revamped and expanded by the new owner. Works are currently in progress in preparation for the first round of the Racing World Cup on August 28.
