With an order by the Minister of Environment - Dzhevdet Chakarov the Persenk area is declared a protected zone. This is the fifth protected zone in the region, radio Plovdiv announces. The area is situated on the territory of Plovdiv and Smolyan regions on an area of 162 thousand decares and the villages Sitovo and Lilkovo are situated in it.
