The Krasen Kale fortress is situated about 3 km away from the village of Buta , Pazardjik region , and some 10 km south of the town of Panagyurishte . Specialists think it was built in X century. Currently, visitors can see many well-preserved parts of the fortress, including buildings, fortress walls and extant waterkeepers (shterni). There are also remains of inner and outer walls.
