The government has terminated two contracts for the concession of mineral water because companies did not pay their contributions to the state for a year and a half. One contract was concluded with Quadrant Beverages JSC for part of the mineral water from drilling in Belovo field. The second contract was signed with Benabra JSC managing the field Bratsigovo . According to data of the environmental ministry for 2010 Benabra owes the state USD 60 240 fee that has not been paid....

The Belovska basilica is one of the best preserved early Christian temples in Bulgaria. It is situated in the beautiful northeast slopes of Rodopa Mountain . It became an important spiritual center after its foundation in the 6th. In the 17th it was destroyed by the Ottomans during the great converting to Mohammedanism of the villages near the town of Velingrad .
