The Krasen Kale fortress is situated about 3 km away from the village of Buta , Pazardjik region , and some 10 km south of the town of Panagyurishte . Specialists think it was built in X century. A group of Russian officials selected the town as a vacation destination after visiting and inspecting holiday conditions in Velingrad. Russian tourists will make use of the spa procedures that Velingrad offers. The first group to come to the resort will be comprised of pensioners from Moscow.

The weather conditions are suitable for mountain tourism, Mountain Rescue Service at Bulgarian Red Cross informed. Later today a break in the weather is expected. The Mountain Rescue Service recommends that tourists choose shorter routes, on low grounds so that they are able to get back home early in the afternoon.
