The cause of the fire that has been raging for the last three days near the Svilengrad villages of Studena , Ravna Gora and Matochina has been defined as carelessness and not arson by the Police investigators. The investigation has further revealed that the fire has been caused by a local resident. The fire has severe consequences and led to the extinction of 3,000 dekares of forests, 1,5000 dekares of almond and walnut trees and nearly 5,000 dekares of grass and bushes.
