| A heavy car-truck crash claimed the lives of three men on the road between Bulgaria`s towns of Simeonovgrad and Harmanli in the early hours of Wednesday. The accident occurred as a result of the extremely high speed the car was driven by. The driver and his fellow-travelers died on spot. The case is still under investigation. |

Business: Citygas to invest 178 mln levs in gas networks over 5-yrs

| Citygas, the local subsidiary of Gruppo Societa Gas Rimini S.p.A., will invest 178 mln levs in gas distribution center Trakia through 2013. The target is set out in the business plan of the company submitted for approval by the Bulgarian power regulator. The document will be reviewed next week.

| Private lands will be expropriated for implementation of road infrastructural projects, according to a recent government decision, Cabinet`s PR officers said in a statement with BTA news agency.
These projects include: reconstruction and electrification of the Plovdiv - Svilengrad railway line, leading to the Greek and Turkish borders and gearing the road for a maximum speed of 160 km/h and an overhaul of the second-class road Simitli - Gradevo -Predela- Razlog .
