Six municipal hospitals will certainly become centres for post-hospital treatment, according to a supplement to the Concept for Hospital Restructuring, published on the website of the Health Ministry. The medical establishments in Dryanovo, Elena, General Toshevo, Sredets, Lyubimets and Radomir have been approved for restructuring by the Ministry. Japanese prince Akishino will open the new museum of Thracian culture in the east Rhodope Mountains near the Aleksandrovska tomb in the town of Haskovo . The museum will be finished in May 2009. The only company which gave work to the people in Lyubimets, has closed because of the crisis. 150 workers from Detelina-Textiles JSC from the southern town lost their jobs. People have already received their individual dismissal notifications. The textile company which is owned by Dane is going to start a liquidation procedure on March 1, explained by CITUB in Haskovo. In recent months 200 workers from the region have been released by the light industry enterprises.

A team of Bulgarian archaeologists searches for a Thracian village, bigger than Perperikon, at the Gluhite Kamani locality near Malko Gradishte village . The excavations started a week ago. The campaign is conducted by archaeologist Georgi Nehrizov and has already produced its first results. The experts have discovered a petrogliph - a picture carved in the rock.
