Italian engineering company OMS Saleri Eastern Europe plans to invest EUR 15 million in the construction of a ball valves plant near the northeastern town of Vratsa , the town authorities said. On Thursday, the company`s owner, Jacopo Rocca, and Vratsa`s mayor, Kostadin Shakhov, signed a contract for the land plot for the future plant. German discounter Penny Market plans to open its first Bulgarian stores by the end of 2009, company manager Vassil Fechko said at the ribbon-cutting ceremony for a logistic centre near Stolnik . The heating utility firms in the cities of Sofia , Vratsa , Pleven and Burgas may face gas cut if they do not pay their debts to Bulgargaz.
