The Strupeshki (Tarzhishki) Monastery St. Prophet Ilia is located some 4.5 km western direction from village of Strupets ( Vratsa district ) at distance around 30km to town of Vratsa and 10km to town of Roman . It is situated in the northern part of the Gola Glava (Bald Head) hill in the Western Fore-Balkan, on the right bank of the Iskar river (300m away from the river).
