Beneficiaries are being selected for the Loukovit-Roman Virtual Business Incubator Project, financed by the Employment Agency under a lending agreement with the World Bank.
The applicants must be jobless persons from the two municipalities in Northwestern Bulgaria, who want to start their own businesses and acquire entrepreneurial skills. Thirty unemployed people are expected to participate in the project.
Training is to start in January, with marketing and entrepreneurship experts, a lawyer and an accountant giving lectures on how to start a business and select staff. The next module will focus on financing from EU programmes and funds, banks and microfinancing institutions. Foreign experts will provide consulting on project management, small and medium - sized businesses, accounting and financing at the Loukovit office.
Five unemployed people will have companies registered as part of the project.
Workshops and consulting will also be available for 15 micro and small businesses registered in the last 24 months. The eight-month project will be carried out by CBS Consulting.
