A 14-year-old teenager was shot on Saturday night outside a bar in the village of Pokraina , near Vidin in northern Bulgaria, but his life appears to be out of danger.
The boy was taken to the local hospital and then moved to the Pirogov emergency hospital in Sofia , the police in Vidin said.
He was shot in the groin by a 31-year-old with an illegally-owned handgun. The shooter is in preventive arrest and an investigation has been launched.
