Husband stabbed his wife in the Bulgarian border town of Bregovo on Monday and then escaped in Serbia, police reported. The woman at the age of 50 is currently in hospital and her life is in danger. The 48-year-old man who stabbed her was arrested and with the cooperation of the Serbian authorities was brought back to Bulgaria.
