The sum of EUR 25.7 M will be added to the total cost of the construction of the second bridge linking Bulgaria and Romania across the Danube River, the Bulgarian Parliament agreed. The Spanish FCC company, building contractor of Danube Bridge II between the Bulgarian port Vidin and the Romanian Calafat, has received a concession to extract construction materials. Bulgaria will build a super-fast railroad highway to connect the capital Sofia with the western city of Vidin and the new Danube Bridge there. The investment amount is estimated at EUR 2.7 B. Four hospitals were not granted licenses to operate by the Ministry of Health (MH) and will close down, was announced yesterday. Level of Danube River close to the town of Silistra has increased by 11cm over the last 24 hours reaching 794cm, press centre of the Agency for Exploration and Maintenance of the Danube River announced. The level of the water close to Ruse is up by 4cm reaching 816cm; in Nikopol  - by 1 cm to 789cm.
