(DPE) have discovered a gas deposit under the Bulgarian town of Varshets, the Russian Prime-Tass agency broke the news. Tests have shown the presence of promising quantities of gas and natural gas condensate. Apart from Bulgaria, DPE have subsidiaries in Morocco and Russia. More than a year ago they started drilling for gas near the Pleven Districtvillage of Deventsi after discovering a large deposit.
A 39-year-old man committed suicide on a square in front of a church in Bulgaria`s village of Gorno Ozirovo on Monday. He took his own life using a hand-made rifle shooting at his neck. The weapon was seized by the police. The reasons for the tragedy are still under investigation.
