The Election Day passed normally without any filed complains for violations. The candidates for mayor of the village are three: Kirilka Efremova’s husband – 60-year-old Ognyan Efremov (National Movement for Stability and Progress), 31-year-old Biser Tsvetanov (Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria) and 34-year-old Toni Traykov (Bulgarian New Democracy).

The unknown robbers committed the crime by cutting the metal box placed in the Municipality`s building without letting any of the passers-by notice what they were doing. The rehabilitation of the water supply grid near the village of Barzia, Montana district, is the reason for the traffic to be redirected through roads IV-81204 and III-812 Berkovitsa-Varshets – from the road fork leading to the Yagodovo village, near the Chapraza area.
