Two serious car crashes killed one person and injured five near the seaside city of Varna , the National Medical Coordination Center told. On Sunday evening a car hit a fence near the village of Staro Orayhovo , wounding two 17 year-old and one 20 year-old boys and killing one person. A 43 year-old woman and three year-old boy are hospitalized after a road accident early on Monday morning near the village of Slanchevo , Varna region . The woman is believed to have fallen asleep while driving the car.

Over 8,000,000 sq. m of forests near the sea will become resorts and holiday complexes. The territories are mostly along Kamchia river, the village of Shkorpilovtsi, the recreation zones near Varna and Golden Sands resort.
5,000,000 sq. m have been sold by the State forest agency for the last three years against BGN 3m at an average price of BGN 6.33 per sq. m. Other 3,000,000 sq. m near the coastal zone have been exchanged for forest inland territories in ratio 1:10 in favour of the state. Over 800,000 sq. m of forests in the zone of Kamchia will be partially deforested and turned into big holiday villages with big parks with them.
For the coming three years in Avren municipality have been announced investment interests for over EUR 250m mainly around Kamchia river coasts. Varna realtors are expecting this summer to galvanize the river territories trade whose current levels are up to EUR 45 per sq. m. In Shkorpilovtsi the investment situation is even hotter. Varna is in the top of the use of former forest land territories.
