| Two people are dead and seven injured after a serious crash on the "Hemus" Highway in the direction of Varna , right after the village of Slunchevo . The accident happened early Friday morning around 6:30 am, according to the announcement made by local traffic police. The vehicles involved were a van and a car with the two victims being passengers in the van, transporting employees to the shipyard. The identity of the deceased is still unknown. Policemen have arrested a furloughed prisoner after he robbed a house in the village of Kirchevo in northern Bulgaria. The prisoner went to the village to look for a friend of his, also a former prisoner, but did not find him. The 31-year-old man, sentenced for stealing a car, then made acquaintance with a local man who invited him in his home. On the next morning the host found out two rifles, cartridges, and a mobile phone were missing. After a quick investigation the prisoner was nabbed and taken back to jail. |
