Bulgarian company Winslow Wind power, a unit of local real estate developer Winslow Group, intends to build a wind power facility in northeastern Bulgaria , according to a decision of environment minister Nona Karadzhova for preparing an environmental impact assessment (EIA) on the project. The wind park will be located on agricultural land near the village of Yagnilo , Vetrino municipality , and the villages of Pamukchii and Stan in the municipality of Novi Pazar . Accidents: Bulgaria Police Arrest Seven Transsexual Prostitutes in Downtown Sofia

The Sofia Police arrested Friday 21 prostitutes at the Macedonia Square in downtown Sofia including seven transsexuals. Four of the detained persons are prohibited from leaving the country because they had been arresting as prostitutes abroad, or have committed criminal offences. Six of those arrested are from Sofia , and the rest are from Pleven , Vratza , Lom , Nikopol , Omurtag , Berkovitsa , Novi Pazar . The detainees were freed after they were interrogated. Accidents: One ton of wheat burnt in Shumen

On August 18 at about 14.06pm has been received a signal that a house in Tranitsa village was in flames, press centre of District Police Directorate in Shumen informed. About 150 square meters of roof and 1ton of wheat have burnt. A firefighter brigade arrived on the site and succeeded to bring the fire under control.

By the end of June First Investment Bank (FIB) will open 8 new branches throughout Bulgaria, announced treasury officials. FIB will go for Yambol, Sozopol, Novi Pazar, and Rousse. In Sofia there will be four new branches – at Hristo Botev Blvd., Patriarh Evtimiy Blvd., Shipchenski Prohod Blvd., and in the Ilientzi neighborhood. Today FIB celebrates 10 years of the branch establishment in Karlovo. The office has over 14 000 clients.
