A journalist is beaten in front of nightclub in Shabla

Kaloyan Minkov, a sports reporter for Varna based daily Cherno More, has been beaten in front of Port nightclub in Shabla, Darik reports Sunday.
According to Minkov, around 2:10 AM he and his brother were attacked by a broup of 8 men as they were exiting the club. A little after a police car arrived to the scene he was also hit by club owner Kostadin Stoyanov.
The journalist claims that he wasn`t drunk or causing trouble when the incident took place.
He has been transported to a hospital in Dobrich where he was admitted in neurosurgery where his head received two stitches.
He filed a complaint in a local police department against the club`s owner and the policemen from the patrol car who, in his words, didn`t respond adequately to the situation.
The case is currently being investigated and as soon as the story is set straight the police will inform the District Prosecution in Kavarna.
