The 112 emergency hotline will be launched in Bulgaria at long last. As of July 3, the line will receive emergency calls from the citizens in 10 districts. At the same time two call centers will start functioning in the capital and in Russe, which will cover Greater Sofia, Pernik, Kyustendil, Blagoevgrad, Veliko Tarnovo, Gabrovo, Silistra and Razgrad. Till the end of the year the free line should be available for the rest of the towns in Bulgaria, Minister of State Policy for Disasters and Accidents informed yesterday. Meanwhile in the towns of Shumen and Sliven a temporary information center already operates. It receives calls about emergency situations and dispatches them to Civil Protection agency. To make a call people have to dial the respective area code and then 112.
Ventsi, the authorised Toyota distributor for the Gabrovo and Veliko Tarnovo regions, said it will invest 2.2 mln euro in a new auto service center in Gabrovo. The 3,100 sq m complex, located in the northern industrial zone of the city, will house offices, warehouse, service shop and a retail outlet for auto accessories. Property prices in Veliko Turnovo will continue their upward trend but at a slower and more balanced pace, according to Teodora Dimova from ERA real estate agency.
The number of property deals in Bulgaria`s old capital increased by 21 per cent on 2006, ERA data shows.
