The Assumption of Holy Mary is one of the churches in the town of Byala (southern part of the Varna district ). The temple is dated back to 1876. During excavation works in the mediaeval town of Cherven near Ruse , archeologists discovered an unique grave. Because of grave`s small size archeologists believed that it contained the body of an infant. After further research, they found out that a man aged 30 to 35 years was buried there. The ancient town’s gate of Ruse named Kyuntou Capou will be renovated and conserved, Darik Radio reported. The gate was built in the 18th century and has been named a monument of culture. Renovation works involve the dismantlement of the stone works and the removal of a concrete block from the ceiling. The project is worth 46 000 leva provided by Ruse municipality.
