| The Bulgarian transport ministry will not be unable to deliver on pledges to hire an operator for the Gorna Oryahovitsa airport by mid-2009 and for the Shtraklevo airport, near Ruse , by August 2008. The deadline for participation in the concession procedure for Ruse airport has been extended, bids can be submitted by 7 May. The tender documents can be received up to 30 days after the publication of the call for tender. The airport in Shtraklevo village includes a concession territory of 1,818,715 sq. m with a few buildings, facilities, equipment, relevant infrastructure. The future concession holder will have to carry out a partial rehabilitation, reconstruction and repair as a part of the annex to the main contract. |
