Sofia Municipality will sign a contract with UNICEF -Bulgaria for the donation of 600 000 leva (EUR 300 000), with which two centres for the accommodation of the children from the Mogilino institution for children with physical and mental disabilities, reports Darik Radio. The new home for Mogilino disabled children wil be build in the sea capital of Bulgaria Varna. That proposed the city mayor Kiril Yordanov himself to the UNICEF representative for Bulgaria - Octavian Bivol.
The idea of Yordanov is the institution to be constructed in a terrain in ‘Vladislav Varnenchik` district, already prepared by the municipality. The world organization`s specialist have already visited and approved the place. The home of the fatally famous disabled children from ‘Mogilino` will be constructed with UNICEF resources.

Children`s care home in Mogilino would be closed down. That surfaced at a press conference of the Minister of Social Policy Emiliya Maslarova, FOCUS News Agency reporter informed. After an assessment of social care homes in Bulgaria made by the Ministry of Social Policy last year it becomes clear that six more social care homes would be closed down, Minister Maslarova added. Bulgarian Social Ministry will allot about BGN 8 million for social adaptation of the children after closing the children`s care homes.

Dessy is an 8-year-old girl, confined to a wheelchair. Her parents left her in a social welfare establishment.
