| Local company Sofia Estates Development said it will invest 22 mln levs in the construction of a retail center in the city of Pleven, Northern Bulgaria. The construction of the complex, with a build area of over 20,000 sq m, will begin next month with completion scheduled for Oct `09. The 36,000 sq m land plot earmarked for the project is located in one of Pleven`s most densely populated districts, Storgozia. The developer said the center will feature outlets by home improvement retailers as well as a supermarket, quickservice restaurants, pizza parlor and a 450-car parking lot.
