| The oldest in the Balkans Institute for Viticulture and Oenology in the city of Pleven, Northern Bulgaria, is drafting a project for the development of wine tourism in this country. Wine tourism has become a tradition with many nations across the world, to which Bulgaria is but a newcomer. The region of Pleven in particular and the country in general has the potential to come up with an itinerary that can at the same time reveal the beauty of the Bulgarian landscapes and advertise the opportunities for growing quality grapes varieties and making good wines. |

| According to unofficial information Nova TV received an alert signal from viewers that the express train Sofia-Varna set on fire near the town of Cherven Bryag . According to initial information no victims are reported. Later, executive Director of the Bulgarian state Railways (BDZ) Hristo Monov denied the rumor that there was a fire in the train Sofia - Varna . | The Bulgarian environment ministry has issued an integrated pollution prevention and control permit to the Pleven district heating utility after the company brought on stream last year a gas-fired turbine. The number of the victims, who died in the fire that enveloped a Bulgarian night train last week, reached nine after spinal column part of another dead body was found Tuesday. Medical experts proved it was a human remain that belongs to the body of one of three victims, whose identities have not been established until today. They were all women - Galina Ivanova, Elena Halachevathe and the 20-year-old student Antoaneta Todorova, who was declared missing after the tragic accident.
